- 3x5 @ 185lb with 2 min rests
- A recovery type day. Too heavy to be recovery friendly?
Overhead press
Points to consider
- 3x5 @ 100lb with 5, 5 and 12 min rests
- Warmup with just bar 2x5, 3 @ 65lb, 2 @ 75lb, 2 @ 85lb, 1 @ 95lb
- Finally completed all 3x5 @ 100lb!
- Almost failed on second set, but was able to GRIND for 3 or so seconds to get the last rep. Ugh! The final set was much better
Pullups
Points to consider
- 3 sets at bodyweight
- successful reps: 10, 10, 8
- Arms and shoulders felt rather tired after the OHP sets
