Squats

Points to consider

  • 3x5 @ 185lb with 2 min rests
  • A recovery type day. Too heavy to be recovery friendly?

Overhead press

Points to consider

  • 3x5 @ 100lb with 5, 5 and 12 min rests
  • Warmup with just bar 2x5, 3 @ 65lb, 2 @ 75lb, 2 @ 85lb, 1 @ 95lb
  • Finally completed all 3x5 @ 100lb!
  • Almost failed on second set, but was able to GRIND for 3 or so seconds to get the last rep. Ugh! The final set was much better

Pullups

Points to consider

  • 3 sets at bodyweight
  • successful reps: 10, 10, 8
  • Arms and shoulders felt rather tired after the OHP sets
