Felt crushed after this workout. Am I getting sick? Or not well rested enough from the previous workouts?
Next session will definitely be for recovery and not a fake recovery sessions with 3 reps at PR weights that I have been fooling myself with.
Squats
Points to consider
- 3x5 @ 240lb with 5-7 min rests
- Form in video isn't what I wanted. Not enough hip drive, depth OK?, and too much forward bounce in the hole.
- Other sets felt better, but without video I can't say for sure.
Overhead press
Points to consider
- 3x5 @ 95lb with 3 min rests; felt good even though my mind was telling me that I wasn't feeling quite right.
- Followed up with 1x5 @ 100lb, which went well
- Finished with attempts at 110lb, but I rushed my rest (3 min) due to people waiting on the rack and only completed 2 reps. And they were pretty shaky :\
Pullups
Points to consider
- successful reps: 10, 10, 7 with 3 min rests
- Forgot harness and my mind/body was starting really to feel not great so I did bodyweight
- The last set felt like shit :\ I probably could have grinded out 8 or 9, but my mind was yelling 'stop!'
